Requirements:
1. iPod/iPhone/iPad/iPad mini
2. Minecraft PE (downloaded to one of the devices listed in 1.)
3. Computer (PC
or Mac)
4. iExplorer (the free demo version works perfectly for this)
(downloaded onto computer)
5. 32 pin/ Lightning Cord (whichever one you use
to charge your device)
Step 1: Make sure you have the world you want to copy
completed with everything you want in it, and that you have a world ready to
copy your other world to.
Step 2: Open the multitasking bar by double
clicking the home button and close Minecraft PE.
Step 3: Plug your device
into the computer via the charging cord.
Step 4: Open iExplorer.
Click on
"Apps" in the top left corner under the name of your device.
Scroll down
until you see a file called Minecraft PE.
Step 5: Open the folder, then go to
documents >games > com.mojang > minecraftWorlds
Step 6: find the
world you want to copy and open its folder.
Step 7: Click and drag the
document called chunks.dat to your desktop.
Step 8: On the menu on the left
of the iExplorer window scroll down until you find the name of the world you
want to copy TO and click on it.
Step 9: click and drag the document on your
desktop (chunks.dat) to where it has a document with the same name in your
copy-to world's folder and when it asks if you want to replace the existing file
click OK.
Step 10: Open MInecraft PE on your device and enjoy.
(Note: This will not effect your inventory in either world.)
This can also be used to copy someone else's world. If you have made a cool world and would like to share it send me the chunks.dat
file along with some screenshots of the world via my e-mail: [email protected], and if I like it
I will upload the file for others to copy.
